A SCOTTIE EMERGENCY:
“What do I do?… Help!… Something is wrong with my Scottie Pet!” – this page is to better illustrate issues of safety for your Scottie Dog, but can be applied to most Pets, Service and Therapy dogs. It is always important to study and learn a few basic steps to follow in advance of an actual PET EMERGENCY.
(SCOTTIE HEAVEN WARNING: Always visit a licensed Veterinarian for a complete and thorough exam after any emergency. Your Scottie may require: additional treatment, blood tests, medications, or all may be necessary for your pet to survive!)
This page contains numerous charts that you can print and place on a bulletin board or a refrigerator door for quick reference after you have studied them, (print, cut and paste them in a clear plastic page.) The charts will print larger than they appear on this page.
Other members in your family and persons who frequent your home should also be informed about these charts, so they too will be confident in helping or assisting your dog, should there be an actual pet emergency. Please, don’t wait, study these charts and be prepared: – “The life you save may be your best friend and a family member.”
LOST PET POSTER – Down Load this poster, print complete the details and post it around the area which you lost your pet. (The first 12 hours are critical to locate your pet. “ALWAYS Have your pet Micro-Chipped.”)
PET EMERGENCY CARD – Print the card and carry it in your wallet should you become incapacitated or hospitalized.
Try and have everything written down in one location so that you are ready when an actual emergency does occur. Keep everything that is current in one folder ready to travel. This way you can move at a moments notice. Save our Pet Information Form to your desk top and then print this form from on your computer.
